Online Therapy

At Orenia, we offer online therapy to adults and young people across the UK. Our therapy is provided by HCPC-registered clinical psychologists and is tailored to your individual needs, goals and life circumstances.

We understand that making the choice to begin therapy can be daunting. Whatever has brought you here, well done for taking the first step. We aim to make the therapy process as simple as possible.

Online therapy allows you to access specialist psychological support from the comfort of your own home, wherever you are in the UK.

What We Can Help With

We provide online therapy for a range of psychological difficulties, including:

  • Anxiety and excessive worry

  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

  • Phobias

  • Low mood and depression

  • Trauma and complex trauma (PTSD)

  • Stress, burnout and emotional overwhelm

  • Difficulties with self-esteem and confidence

  • Relationship and interpersonal difficulties

  • Emotional regulation difficulties

If you are unsure whether therapy is right for you, we offer an initial consultation to explore this together.

Starting Therapy

01

Initial consultation

We offer a free 30-minute initial consultation call to gather additional information about your difficulties and answer any questions you may have. At Orenia, we believe that therapy is most effective when a client and therapist can develop a rapport and trusting relationship. This is fundamental and a consultation provides a valuable opportunity to help you decide whether you'd like to go ahead with an assessment.

02

Initial assessment

We will need to complete an initial psychology assessment prior to therapy sessions starting. This is to help us gain a more detailed and in-depth understanding of your difficulties and the best treatment options.

03

Start therapy

Following this, we usually recommend weekly therapy sessions to start, however, this is something we can discuss to ensure your sessions can fit around your schedule.

Our Approach to Therapy

Our work is grounded in evidence-based psychological therapies and guided by clinical expertise, compassion and collaboration.

As clinical psychologists, we integrate approaches such as:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT)

  • Trauma-informed approaches

  • Relational and formulation-based work

Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all model, we take time to understand you, your history, strengths, challenges and goals, and tailor therapy accordingly.
